Finished an amazing 4 day 3 night backpacking loop around the Maroon Bells outside Aspen. ~32 miles and 8500’ of elevation gain at 10 to 12.5k feet took everything our Midwest lungs could give. RMNP Skypond is the end of the trail, and the cap of a hike that started at 4am.  This one has been on my RMNP bucket list for a few years now and managed to make it there in July. Finally made it to the PERFECTLY named Lake Verna in Rocky Mountain National Park after a canceled 2020 trip.
